Sequential Batch Biological treatment for reduction of BOD, COD and TSS
The Sequential Batch Reactor (SBR) is one of the oldest forms of sewage treatment. The simplicity of the plant is its winning feature, despite the footprint being much larger than the MBR or SAF processes. The complication arises in the control programme to ensure all of the sequences that happen in a single tank do so at the correct time.
Treated water quality after tertiary treatment exceeds the international standards for treated sewage water discharge and reuse in restricted irrigation. The Eflo Filandraw packaged plants are designed and constructed to achieve a final effluent of 10/10 in terms of BOD5/TSS.
